Artist Statement
I paint because I have a blind optimism about the world that I want to capture and inspire with others.
My work highlights beauty in everyday life by exaggerating color and form. Each painting focuses on details that are often overlooked, encouraging viewers to see the world through a more hopeful lens.
I also paint about my experiences as a woman, often reinterpreting historical female tragedies in a more optimistic light.
After studying finance at Wharton, I graduated six months early and painted until I was able to leave my career in banking and become a full-time artist.
